Alcohol Awareness “RServing” Training

RServing (Responsible Serving of Alcohol) is a nationally recognized program for controlling the risk created in the selling and serving of alcohol. This program is geared towards persons working as bartenders or servers at Yale functions or banquets or at events catered by Yale Dining Services.

All servers must pass an “RServing” exam to receive a certification card which is good for four years, and may be transferable to other serving situations.

Participants in the “RServing” program will gain the confidence to react to situations and ensure alcohol is served responsibly and legally.

The training is offered online through www.rserving.com. Please contact the Office of Risk Management to request access to training. You will need to provide your Yale NetID and email address.  The Office of Risk Management will send you ID and Registration numbers, along with instructions on how to access the online training from the RServing website.
