Is Yale the owner?

Referring to the information in your completed inventory form, if the “creator” of the content is “Yale” or a “Yale employee,” you will need only to obtain approval from the appropriate Yale department.  For additional information, refer to Yale’s Copyright Policy.

If the creator of the content is someone other than “Yale” (or a Yale employee), you should continue to assume the content will require rights clearance.
