Yale alumni vote each year to elect one new alumni fellow to the Yale Corporation, the university’s governing board. The Alumni Fellow election is managed by the secretary of the university or her designee on behalf of the Yale Alumni Association. The process is guided by the Miscellaneous Regulations of the Yale Corporation and the University Charter.
