Work opportunities at OGC2008-2009 Law Fellowship This fellowship provides recent law school graduates with an excellent and unusual opportunity to develop legal research skills and other experience in a wide variety of fields, including education law issues, regulatory issues, commercial and corporate law, and litigation, all within the context of a major non-profit research university. The Office of the General Counsel is also responsible for the federal relations of the university, involving communications and commentary on issues concerning higher education to members of Congress, their staffs, and various government agencies and officials. Work will include legal and fact research, writing of memoranda and correspondence and drafting of legal documents, as well as a variety of other tasks under the supervision of the office’s attorneys. Strong academic credentials and well-developed writing skills are important qualifications for this position.
