Susan has been a member of the OGC since 1996. Her practice areas include charitable giving, trusts & estates, licensing, trademark and copyright issues, and student and decanal affairs. She is an advisor to the Yale College Executive Committee and serves on the Gift Stewardship Committee and the Provost's Advisory Committee on the Digital Landscape. Prior to joining this office she worked for Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett and as Associate General Counsel for Christie's Inc. in New York City. Susan received her B.A. from Wellesley College, B.A., magna cum laude, in1983, and her J.D. from New York University in1990. She is a member of the Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut bars and serves on the boards of Artspace and The Children’s Preschool.
